Sunday 14, in Ewart Gallery at 7pm:
The Public Relations Office is pleased to invite you to the opening of an art exhibit by the Cairo Art Guild entitled "Aspects of Egypt" featuring works by 19 artists. The exhibition, which will be inaugurated by the Honorable David Welch, US ambassador to Egypt and Mrs. Gretchen Welch, will continue daily through April 24.

The Sony Gallery for Photography inaugurates a photographic exhibition entitled "Be Thou There; The Holy Familys Journey in Egypt: Photographs by Norbert Schiller, which will continue through May 9.

The Performing and Visual Arts department hosts a concert by the Osiris Singers, who will perform Liebeslieder Waltzer by Brahms and various musical selections from the swing era.
Thursday 18, in Ewart Hall at 7pm:
A charity concert featuring Nubian folkloric songs and traditional dances, and performed by members of the Nubian community in Egypt. For tickets contact Mr. Mohamed Sobhy: 010 6339118. (N.B. due to previous change in date of this concert, it is advisable to confirm before arrival on the 18th)
Thursday 18-24, in Falaki Theatre at 7pm:
The Performing and Visual Arts department presents Sophocles much-loved "Antigone". Performances on April 19 & 20 will start at 5pm. Box Office: 797-6373.
Monday 22, Oriental Hall at 6pm:
The PR office presents the sixth lecture in the English Public Lecture Series. The topic will be announced, shortly.
Wednesday 24, in Greek Campus at 11am:
The International Student Services Office hosts International Day, where AUC students of different nationalities will represent their respective countries with traditional costumes, food and folklore.
